Brian played in high school marching and concert bands. But after that, he left the instrument behind to finish his education, get married, and pursue a career. Picking up the sax again a little more than 15 years ago,
 

   Brian joined the UW Marshfield band and was later recruited to join the jazz band. This was his first experience with jazz and he was hooked immediately. Brian has been having a great time since joining Hub City Jazz in the fall of 2010.
