Pat Zdun - trumpet

Pat got into music very early in life.  Started learning to play the piano and accordion at the age of three.  In grade school, he decided to start playing the cornet and later the trumpet.  During high school, Pat played concertina and trumpet almost every weekend with his family’s “Polka Plus” band and took private lessons whenever time permitted.

After high school, Pat attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for one year.  After returning home, he attended Milwaukee School of Engineering and earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.  Pat currently work as an electrical power engineer for Verso Corporation in Wisconsin Rapids and finds time to play music with his church, UW-Marshfield/Wood County Symphonic Band, Royal Brass Quintet, Marshfield Civic Band, and of course Hub City Jazz.
